Passed away on December 19th at age 85. Survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Norman L.; children, Norman R. Billings, Cynthia (Robert) Bruns; grandchildren, Ashlee (Nate) VanKouwenberg, Kyle Billings, Jordyn Billings, Ryan Bruns, Corey Bruns, Jeremy Billings, Zachary Billings; great grandchildren, Reagan & Braedy VanKouwenberg; sisters, Barbara "Snookie" Morgan, Sarah Benjamin (Johna Simar); brothers, Harold "Sonny" (Eva), Philip "Cricky" (Donna), George (Lisa) Benjamin; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Harold A. & Ellen V. Benjamin; brother, Ronald "Skip" Benjamin.
Janet was born & raised in Smethport, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school she began her career at McKean County courthouse. After marriage, she relocated to Rochester New York where she was employed by Eastman Kodak Co until her and Norman started a family. Janet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put the needs of others before herself. Her greatest joy was spending time with and taking care of her loved ones.
Janet was a very good bowler and enjoyed being in many leagues and tournaments with her husband and friends throughout the years.
A private Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
