Janet Marie Buss, 65, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
Janet was an employee of Eastman Kodak for many years, retiring in 2013. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with their loved ones. Janet had an extraordinary love for animals, rescuing many cats, and dogs throughout the years. Janet's love for her son, Matthew and her grandchildren, Cameron and Zoey was beautiful and special.
Janet is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Buss.
She is survived by her son, Matthew (Erica Ross) Buss. Her grandchildren, Cameron and Zoey Ross. Life long friend and father of her son, Gary Cupp. She is also survived by her siblings, Tom (Karen) Buss, Kenny (Kathy) Buss, Mary Holland, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 4-7 pm Tuesday July 6, 2021 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday morning in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester, 99 Victor Rd, Fairport, NY 14450 in memory of Janet.
