August 7, 1929 — May 22, 2022

Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jennie Carducci, siblings, Sam Carducci, Mary Serdenis, Antionette Rosenbauer, Helen Shelby and Dorothy Conway, dear friend, Mary Lincoln and beloved Husband of 36 years, Joseph Frankunas.

Survived by Daughter, Lori M. Frankunas, Sons, Jon J. Frankunas, David F. (Cynthia Irvine) Frankunas, and James D. (Marina) Frankunas, grandsons, Alexander and Leo, Nieces, Barbara (Dick) Holland, Dottie Serdenis, Carol (Dave) Keeler, Marilyn Frankunis, Nephews James (Marsha) Serdenis, Hank Carducci and many great nieces, great nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A service will be held St. Charles Borromeo Church on Saturday May 28, at 10AM.
The funeral service will be live streamed on the St. Charles Borromeo Youtube page.

Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.

Janet led a full and happy life. She and Joe raised 4 children while both working full time. Janet had a fulfilling career as an insurance agent with many years at Paris-Budlong- Esse agency (now Paris-Kirwin Associates) and ended her career at Marsh McClennon.
Janet was a devout catholic and was active in her parish, Holy Name of Jesus, and then St. Charles Borromeo. Janet served on the social justice committee, taught religion school, was a lector and eucharistic minister and member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society. She loved singing with the church choir.

Janet loved helping people. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who might need it. She opened her home and had many Sunday & Holiday dinners were all were invited. She volunteered at Journey Home Hospice and St. Joseph's House of Hospitality.
Janet was a long-time fan of the Buffalo Bills and Notre Dame football. She was very enthusiastic when watching games on TV with family and friends.

She loved animals, especially her dogs, to travel, music and movies.

In lieu of flowers, people can contribute to St. Joseph's House of Hospitality, Rochester or Wolf Haven International, Washington.
