Janet I. Mlinar
February 23, 1942 — June 7, 2017
Rochester: Passed away on June 7, 2017 at the age of 75.
Predeceased by her mother, Ann and brother, Michael.
She is survived by her father, Albert; siblings, Ann (Ronald) Eggan and Richard (Dot); nieces and nephews, Mark, Lisa, and Patrick O'Connor and Lauren Mlinar; and dear friend, Sandra VanCamp.
Janet was an active member in The White Lotus Buddhist Center and the Corn Hill Neighbors Association. She loved her career caring for people as a Registered Nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital and most recently as the night supervisor at the Episcopal Church Home. She was an avid photographer who covered activities in the Corn Hill neighborhood for the Corn Hill Gazette for many years. She was most happy when she was outdoors, communing in nature and bird watching. Special thank you to Dr. Megan Lyons, Dr. Deborah Mulford and her team at Wilmont Cancer Center, the staff at Hildebrandt Hospice, and her caring neighbors in Corn Hill.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
