Passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Mildred Markley.
Survived by her husband, Gary Sheahan. Daughters, Meghan, Erin (Domenick) Watson, and Katherine (James) Comstock.
Granddaughter, Gianna. Brother, Glenn (Elizabeth) Markley. Sisters, Carol (Ronald) Gaul, Edwina Markley. Many nieces, nephews, dear friends.
Janet loved animals, especially dogs, cooking and plants. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. A lover of sci-fi movies and Ellen. Janet was a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School. She will be sadly missed by so many.
Friends may call 4- 7 pm Tuesday January 28, 2020 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.)
On Wednesday morning at 10 am, funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment is private.
