Jason Maier passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 23rd. Jason was born June 25, 1980 to Kurt and Anita Maier in Rochester NY. He attended Greece Athena High School before moving to Orlando, Florida to pursue his dream job with Disney. Jason was hard working and excelled at any task set before him. Over the years he received many awards for his "salesmanship" and "customer service" skills, most recently he found his calling at Universal Orlando.
Jason loved to travel and believed in living life to the fullest. He was rarely seen without a positive demeanor, laughing and joking. He had a smile and personality that could and did light up a room. He loved interacting with people whether he knew you or not. Jason was the life of the party, full of energy and most importantly he was kind hearted, he would do anything for anyone. To his family and friends he was fiercely loyal. To his wife he was the center of her world. He loved reading, hockey, gaming and Star Wars. Jason especially loved volunteering at his wife's school. He would mentor, read books to the kids and even chaperone field trips. He loved popping in and everyone loved "Mr. Jason".
Jason is survived by his wife of 14 years, Patricia Maier, his siblings: Ginger (Roger) Hake, Jim (Kim) Crociata, Michelle Crociata, Nicole (Edward) Soulsby as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends and colleagues. Jason was predeceased by his parents Anita and Kurt Maier.
