BRIGHTON-Jerome Koresko Sr., 79, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
Jerome was born in Rochester, NY on June 13, 1943 to the late Stanley and Genevieve Koresko. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jerry was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, a lifetime member of the Polish Falcons. He was a retired partner in his family's former business Genesee Steel Co., that his parents founded in 1939. Jerry was a kind, generous, much-loved person that will be missed and remembered by all who knew him.
Jerome (Jerry) is pre-deceased by his parents Genevieve & Stanley Koresko Sr., his brothers Stanley Koresko Jr., James Koresko, and Edward Koresko.
He is survived by his Partner Beth McCullough, his children Jerome Koresko Jr., Jason Koresko and Melissa Koresko, his grandchildren Josephine Benner, Jacob Koresko, Samuel Owen Koresko, his former wife Karen Koresko and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 10am-12pm, with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
