Chili: Saturday, October 11, 2008, at age 79. Predeceased by his parents, Leroy and Elsie; loving wife of 38 years, Bessie, son Ronnie, and daughter-in-law, Kathy. He is survived by his children, Jerald Wainwright, Deborah (Leo) Proctor, Mark (Lisa) and Victor (Bridgette) Wainwright; grandchildren, Tammy, Stacy, Kyle, Katie, Jordan, Alaina, Andrew and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Tricia and Johnathan; brothers and sisters, Virginia Barkman, Leroy (Linda), Alice, Donald (Linda), Robert (Elaine) Wainwright; several brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by brothers and sisters, Harold (Eunice), Idabelle (Lewis) Rapp, Harlowe, Virgil (Ruth), and Veril aka Bart Barkman.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, October 14th from 5-9 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18th at 11 AM at the Open Door Baptist Church, 350 Chili-Scottsville Rd., Churchville. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Open Door Baptist Church.
