ROCHESTER- Jesus "Robert" Vargas, 61, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Robert was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on April 17, 1961 to the late Arcadio Vargas Sr. and Maria Salcedo. He will be remembered for his love of golf, cooking for his family, and his sense of humor and giving nature. His passion in life was his family.
He is survived by his children, Jesus M. Vargas, Damaris (David) Blake, Marcos (Siera) Vargas, and Marily (Kevin Nunez) Vargas, his grandchildren, Christian, Breonna, Omillio, Amarionna, Abel, Ayden, Annalyse, Aaliyah, Armani, Lorenzo, Annayalise, Alani, and Kylie, his great-grandchildren, Xavier, Micah, and Lilith, his partner, Limarie Dominicci, his siblings, Carmen Vargas, Maria Vargas, Joe Vargas, Arcadio Vargas Jr., and Isabelle Vargas, and a host of family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridge Way Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 4pm-7pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michaels Church 859 N Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14605, on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 12pm. Burial will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY
