Jim Scarborough

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jim Scarborough of Ontario, NY. Jim left us peacefully on March 11, 2025 at the age of 76 surrounded by his loved ones. Jim was a beloved husband to Lori (Winkler), a devoted father to Mark, Matt, Shannon (Walter), and Katie (Matt Fox), and a cherished Papa to David, Carter, Nina, Taylor, Arya, Mason, and Jordan. His love for his family was the foundation of his life, and he took immense pride and joy in watching his grandchildren grow.

Jim had a gift for making people laugh — his sharp wit and sense of humor could light up any room. He had an uncanny ability to find humor in life’s ups and downs, and his laughter was truly contagious. His love for the Detroit Lions was unwavering, even through the tough seasons, and he could often be found cheering them on with passion and loyalty. One of his biggest dreams was to see Detroit make it to the Super Bowl, maybe this year. He also enjoyed trips to the casino, where he chased both luck and the thrill of the game.

Jim’s warmth, humor, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He taught his family the value of laughter, resilience, and unconditional love. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Jim’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends — through the stories he told, the jokes he shared, and the love he gave so freely.

Rest in Peace, Jim. We’ll carry your laughter with us always. We love you so much.
