Greece: Joined her daughter, Renee in heaven Monday, March 12, 2012 at age 64. In addition to her daughter she is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Ruth Defendorf. She is survived by her daughter, Michele (Frank) Fox; grandchildren, Amanda Chamberlain and fiance Ryan, Arieta Harrington, Jacob and Nicholas Tschetter, Leah Fox; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Cameron Emond; sister, Nancy Baroody; niece and nephew. Debbie Baroody and Michael Baroody.
There will be no calling hours. Joan's Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday, March 16th at 11 AM at the New Comer Funeral Home, Empire Blvd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
