SPENCERPORT- Joan Louise O'Connell, 66, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family.
Joan was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 26, 1955 to the late William DeMorato and Joan Brocktus. On August 16, 1986 she married the love of her life, John O'Connell. They were married for over 35 years. Together they raised three children. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, and spending time at the lake. Her passion in life was her family.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Julia Louise Jones, Kim Louise Aguirre, and William DeMorato.
She is survived by her loving husband, John, her children, Jennifer (Mike LeBlanc) Orzechowski, Steven (Alison) O'Connell, and Jessica (Jon Cortina) O'Connell, her grandchildren, Kaylinn O'Connell, and Roenin O'Connell, her siblings, Christina, Donna, Melissa, and Michael, and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held for Joan on Sunday Sept. 18th, 2022 from 2-6pm at Pineway Ponds Park, 99 Park Rd. Spencerport, NY 14559 in the Garvelle Lodge
