JoAnn M. Brickler (Bertolone) of Rochester, passed away on June 8, 2021 following a long battle with many health concerns.
Predeceased by her parents, Josephine and Salvatore Bertolone and brother, John J. Bertolone. She is survived by her son; Scott Bittles (Michele Czapnik), daughter; Tina Brickler, grandchildren; Marcus and Brooke Slattery and Isabella Bittles, brothers; Vincent (Josephine), Anthony ( Lynda), Salvatore (Ann), Joseph, Frank (Kathy) and sister in law, Laura Bertolone, many dear nieces, nephews, great neices and nephews. Special friends; JoAn Miller and Janey Brickler.
JoAnn was a 1967 graduate of Charlotte High School. She then went on to work for Bausch & Lomb for many years then finished her working career at Eastman Kodak Co. JoAnn loved to spend her Summer days at McCarthy Ranch in Angelica, New York and loved to read the obituaries in the D&C to keep everyone informed! She will be deeply remembered for her wit, her love of flowers and birds, and her eternal love for her family.
Friends may meet for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am Monday June 21, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4492 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis TN 38105.
