IRONDEQUOIT- JoAnne I. Kalweit, 77, went home to the Lord on June 2, 2022.
JoAnne was born in Rochester, NY on February 16, 1945 to the late William and Dorothy Viviani. She was the beloved wife to the late Gerhard Kalweit until his passing in 1981. Together they raised one daughter, Kimberly. She will be remembered for her love of baking. Her passion in life was her family, especially her grandsons.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Brian) Hart, her grandsons, James and Brendan Hart, her brothers, William (Sally) Viviani Jr., and John (Kathy) Viviani, and nephews, William (Nicole) Viviani III, John W. Viviani, and John P. (Deena) Viviani, and several close cousins in Erie, PA.
Friends may call 9-10 am Wednesday June 8, 2022 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. (corner of Culver Rd.)
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated following visitation 10:30, at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in JoAnne's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
