It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joanne Manard , a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left us peacefully on January 16, 2025, at the age of 85. Born in Rochester, NY on October 4, 1939, Joanne was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her through life.

Joanne was a loving mother to her three daughters, Linda Ryan , Joanna (Pete) Shearn, and Nancy(Jeff) MacPhee , who were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment spent with them. Her grandchildren Kayla(Tony) Wing, Brenna(Justin) Pollock, Kendall and Connor Shearn. and great-grandchildren Anna, Cooper, and Levi. The ones who were the light of her life. She showered them with love, wisdom, and unforgettable memories. She was survived by her brother Joseph Ange, and many nieces.

An Italian woman with a vibrant spirit, Joanne had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She loved gathering with friends for bingo nights,and cards. where her laughter and warmth were contagious.

Joanne leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at St. Cecilia’s Church located at 2732 Culver Rd, Irondequoit , NY 14622 at 11:00 am. Followed by a reception to celebrate her life.

Rest in peace. Your love will forever be our guiding light.
