Spencerport: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, July 6, 2009 at age 67. He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Elzora Canton; sister, Anne DuMont and nephew, Jack Bailey. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda (Freitas); children, John L., Jeannine, Kimberly, Kevin (Kathleen) Canton; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Alyssa, Cheyenne, Kevin and Korey; aunt, Marilyn Shaffer of Dover, PA; 3 nephews and a niece.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 A.M. at St. Theodore's Church. Interment Holy Ghost Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, California, 90245
