Gates: Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at age 73. Predeceased by his parents, John and Marie; brother, Robert; sons-in-law, John Pelusio and Brian Piotter. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce (Saxe); children, Charlene (V.J.) Metallo, Mary Creegan, Norreen (Joseph Miano) Pelusio, John Scott (Jennifer) Creegan; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; aunt, Jennie; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins; best buddy Paddy Kitzel. John was an avid Hunter, Fisherman and a member of the Kitzel's Sportsman Club.
Family and friends may call Friday 4-8PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 AM at Holy Apostles Church, 530 Lyell Ave. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Foundation (Hospice), 2180 Empire Blvd, Webster, NY 14580 or Monroe Community Hospital Foundation, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 in his memory.
