John Finucane

Peacefully at home, Thursday, May 26, 2005. John Richard Finucane is survived by his wife, Mary; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Kathi of Tulsa, OK. and Eileen and Paul Konrath of Littleton, CO; 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan and Kiley Konrath; his sister, M. Shirley(John) Finkle of Pittsford, NY; special niece, Sarah(Ron) Wandersee of Port Gibson, NY; also several other nieces, nephews, special friends, Rick and Mary Beth Riola; his dog, Mickey, who rarely left his side during hhis final illness. John was an avid NY Yankees fan. The family would like to thank the Pluta Cancer Center and the Visiting Nurse Service for their loving care and compassion during his illness.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, from 3-8PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. John's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday June 1st at 9:30 AM at St. Salome Church, 4282 Culver Road. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be made in John's memory to St. Margaret Mary Church, Building Fund, 401 Rogers Pkwy, Rochester NY 14617; the Pluta Cancer Center, 125 Red Creek Dr., Rochester 14623; or Visiting Nurse Service, 2180 Empire Blvd, Webster, NY 14580.
