John "JACK" Patrick La Veck
August 8, 1939 March 8, 2017, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Bradenton, Florida. Founder of Schoen Place Auto in 1972. Loving and devoted husband of Carol (Rahn) La Veck for over 50 years. Father of Michael, Craig and Lisa La Veck, Kimberly (Michael) Atkins and Cheryl (Nick) Rossi, Grandfather of Kellie La Veck, Vincent and Courtney Lattuca and Kaitlyn Atkins, Logan and Benjamin Rossi; GreatGrandfather of Joey Lattuca, Ariana, Alessandria, and Jacob. Brother of Annette Laveck, Gerald (Betty) Levesque, Jeanne Cona, David (Karen) La Veck, Edward Levesque, Patrick (Donna) La Veck, and over 140 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister, Mary Kirchner.
Calling hours 4-8pm on Friday, March 17, 2017, at New Comer Funeral Home 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626, where funeral services will be held at 9am Saturday. Interment White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY. A reception will follow at the Burgundy Basin Inn, Pittsford, New York.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Jack's Memory to the Healthwell Foundation, 20440 Century Blvd., Ste. 250, Germantown, MD 20874. They so greatly helped with Jack's IPF medication and he would have wanted others to receive the same.
