Rochester- John A. Mendola, 60, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
John was born in Rochester, NY on January 15, 1960 to the late Vincent (Vincenzo) and Phyllis Mendola. He was born and raised in Rochester, later moved to Kingston N.Y. before he traveled the country for a little while, and settled in Phoenix AZ for several years, till he returned to Rochester to be closer to his family. He graduated from Edison Tech high school, owned and operated ETS in Webster for many years, and was in management at several automotive dealerships. He was truly passionate about music, automobiles, food, books, art and traveling. He had an amazing joyful sense of humor. He was truly a blessing to all of his friends and family.
He is predeceased by sisters Connie (Joe) Tagliarino, and Virginia Caulkins.
He is survived by (sir) Gavin his beloved dog. Robert R. Caulkins, Carolyn (Kraig) Mueller, Robert J. Caulkins, Joe (Barb) Tagliarino, Annette Tagliarino, Shauna (David) Lombardi, Jonathan Caulkins, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
