ROCHESTER - December 9th, 1932 - June 21st, 2021. Predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Celia Palumbo. John is survived by his loving wife "Sweetie", Margie (Fico) of 66 years; daughters, Diane Palumbo & Joanne (Dave) Bagley; grandchildren, Shawn (Heather) Skivington, Breanne Skivington, Shannon (Ed) Lennox, David (Amanda) Bagley, Shane Bagley (Ashley Norselli); great grandsons, Michael Skivington, Jacob, Ryan and Connor Lennox, Blake, Cameron and Cole Bagley; sister-in-law, Mickey (Fico) Fichera.
John's greatest joy was his wife's amazing cooking and also enjoyed spending time with his family and at the casino. John had 38 years of service at Gleason Works and was a member of the Elder Statesmen's Club. He was a US Army Veteran, past President of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 52 and a member of the Gates Amita Club.
A private family service was previously held. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.
