Loving husband, father and papa
John was called home into the arms of his Savior on Friday, October 30th, 2020. Predeceased by his father; Anthony Passero, mother; Margaret (Zito) Passero, brothers; James, Lewis, Robert and Neil Passero, sisters; Carmela (Frank) Guerra and Mary (Mike) Lanzone.
Survived by his loving wife of 44 years: Mary Jo, daughters; Kim (Scott) Sternberg, Jennifer (Tim) Stone, Jessica (Vaughn) Brooks, grandchildren; Emma, Jack, Nick, Blake, Joe, James, Maya, Ben and Noah, sisters; Barbara Aquilina, Patty (Sam) Polito and many nieces, nephews and friends.
John was a loving and devoted family man that cherished his wife, children and nine grandchildren. He loved to support his grandchildren in all their sports and hobbies. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Navy and a proud, patriotic American who enjoyed supporting veteran's organizations.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans at DAV.org
Friends may visit the family, 10-12 noon Thursday November 5, 2020 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.) Funeral services will be following at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd. Pittsford, NY at 12:45 pm. at the gravesite Section D. Full military honors by the US Navy will begin prior to graveside services.
