Greece, NY: Thursday, December 9, 2010 at age 81. Predeceased by his beloved dear friend, Joanie Bill. He is survived by his son, James C. Walton; step-son, Steven R. (Joanne) Missell; granddaughters, Denise (Todd) Snyder and Laura (Jeff) Jarvie; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas M. Walton; cousin, Lucille Walton; and close friend, Evelyn Singer.
John was a veteran of the United States Air Force who served in the 11th Airbourne during the Korean Conflict and was a retiree of the Genesee Brewing Company after 38 years of service.
Family and friends may call Sunday 2-5 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where his Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10 AM. Interment, Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd., 14617 in Jack's memory.
