John A. Shaughnessy

John peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on October 9, 2024. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

John worked at Xerox Corporation for 42 years. In addition to his professional accomplishments, John proudly served in the United States Army for 4 years, reflecting his commitment to his country.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lois Shaughnessy, and his parents, Arlington and Louise Shaughnessy. 

John leaves behind his children, Fred Shaughnessy (Lori Dyer) and Debbie Bedette (Ken), along with 10 cherished grandchildren and 5 beloved great-grandchildren. John's life was shaped by the love of his family, who will forever cherish the memories they created together.

A graveside service to honor John will be held on October 21, 2024, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester, NY, starting at 1:00 PM.
