Passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the age of 42.
Predeceased by his father John Simmons Sr.; grandmother, Lucile Buie; cousin, Wilhelmina Wilson; and uncle, Albert Thomas.
He is survived by his daughters, Dai'johnie Simmons & Jah'clara Simmons; son, Pri'aZhon Simmons; fiancée Johntay McCullough; mother, Clara Buie; sisters, Karlissa Lawson, Letha Joiner, Nicole Simmons and Lakisha Simmons; brothers, Dr. Lamont Simmons, Andre Grissett Simmons, Gabriel Simmons, Carlson Simmons, Kareem Tilman, Chevoyia Stanley, and Earnest Stanley;road dog Wezza; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, & friends.
John loved to fish, play the game, & enjoy his peace of mind with his dog Diamond. John was a hard working man he worked for Elmer Davis Roofing, many other odd jobs, he loved working with his hands. He loved spending time with his children & family, hanging out with Nanie.
Calling hours will be Monday February 8, 10-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. Services will be at 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, click here to view the stream of the service burial immediately following at Riverside Cemetery.
