Greece: Passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at age 72. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 39 years, Sandi (Torrelli); son, John (Kim); daughter, Rene Szalkai (Steven Ess); grandchildren, Ava and Olivia; sister, Maria Mergli; brother, Istvan (Ica) Szalkai; special nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to all of John's Hungarian friends who are all family to us.
The family will receive friends Tuesday April 20th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family requests the courtesy of no flowers. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
