Passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 96.

Predeceased by his son, Gregory Warth; parents, John & Veronica Warth; sisters, Nancy Griffith & Dorothy Forman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Mary "Betty" Warth; children, Mark (Gayle) Warth & Carol Ann (John) Bosek; grandchildren, Patrick Bosek (Gosia Radymiak Bosek), Olivia Bosek (Kalyan Mazumder), Ivana Bosek, Kelly Tufano (Corey Tufano), Kaitlin Levesque (Josh Levesque), Connor Warth; great grandchildren, Ezra Bosek, Shayan Mazumder, Ella Tufano, Lily Tufano, & Bazyli Bosek; many nieces, nephews, & cousins.

John was married to Betty for nearly 70 years this May 7th. Together, they raised three children and are proud grandparents to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. After retiring in 1987, they embarked on countless adventures, traveling the world and enjoying 35-40 cruises, in addition to various land excursions across several countries and the United States

John honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to public safety as a firefighter at the Kodak Park Fire Department where he earned the level of “Deputy Chief”. His passion for serving the community extended beyond his career, as he volunteered with the St. Paul Boulevard Fire Department for many years. After retiring, John continued his commitment to public service by serving on the Board of Directors for the Green Valley, Arizona Fire Department. He was also an active member of the Lions Club in Arizona, where he contributed to numerous community initiatives. His lifelong dedication to service and his unwavering support for his community will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
