Passed away Good Friday, April 14, 2006 at age 79, peacefully with family by his side. Predeceased by his parents, Mabel and James Willams; brothers, James, Marvin and Colin Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Arline "Betty" Williams; sons, Curt (Carmen) Williams, Kevin (Laura McDevitt) Williams; daughters, Cindy (John) Caloritis, Ginger (Gil) Eller; also son, John (Vivian) Gross; grandchildren, Rebecca (Mike) Carew, Brent Williams, Ian & Ryan Eller, Breanna Williams, Zachary Caloritis, Tracy (Tom) Carpenter, Danielle Gross; great-grandchildren, Kelly Carew, Tyler and Sydney Carpenter; many special nieces and nephews. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many people. John was employed at the Eastman Kodak Company for 39 years.
Family & friends may call Monday (4/17) 4-7 & Tuesday (4/18) 3-6 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where his Funeral Service will follow the calling at 6 PM. Graveside service Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Fairfield Cemetery Spencerport, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Lung Association-Finger Lakes Region, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY, 14620.
