Rochester: Passed away peacefully Monday, January 30, 2017 at the age of 68.
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Carolyn Wright; brother, Daniel B. Wright; sister, Patricia A. Cassidy; niece, Kristen A. Creary.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Rosemarie Wright; brother-in-law, Arthur Cassidy (Marcia); nieces, Susan M. Hearn (James), Sabrina Jankowski (Jack), Karen Finewood (Bernie); nephews, Scott Wright, Charles Heinzman, Thomas Creary and the Danzig family; several great nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends.
John was a decorated Vietnam War Army Veteran.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staffs at Beikirch Care Center along with the fourth Floor staff at Unity Hospital.
There will be no prior calling. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital.
