Jonathan went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the age of 22 after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer.
He is survived by his parents, Craig and Brenda Solow; siblings, Jennifer and Benjamin Solow; grandparents, Jack and Doris Bundschuh, Michael Solow, Tamara Novick; aunts, uncles, cousins, & several close friends.
Jonathan was a 2015 graduate of Hilton High School and attended SUNY Brockport college. He worked for Wegmans on Latta Rd. He loved playing all kinds of sports; including golf, baseball, fishing, and soccer. He was a soccer referee for 7 years and enjoyed refereeing with his younger brother, Benjamin. His favorite sports team was the Philadelphia Eagles, whom he thoroughly enjoyed watching win the Superbowl in 2018. He was an avid Star Wars fan and enjoyed a recent trip with his family to the new Galaxy's Edge in Hollywood Studios. He loved all kinds of music and enjoyed attending concerts. He was loving, caring, outgoing, strong, and courageous. He will truly be missed by all.
A special "thank you" to the amazing staff at the Lipson Cancer Center – especially Dr. Gregory Connolly and Jodi Lord, who not only supported Jonathan during his 22 month battle with cancer, but have become our close friends. We will forever be thankful for their love and support.
A private graveside service will be held at Whitehaven Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date (when Covid-19 restrictions are eased).
