Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at age 81. He was predeceased by a brother, Stan Lapa; sisters, Emily Anderson and Helen Bodgan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Wanda (Adamus); sons, Joseph and Larry (Barbara) Lapa; grandchildren, Jessica, Chad, Todd, Amanda; brother, Bernard (Josephine) Lapa; nieces and nephews; dear friend, Len (Hazel) Brozotowski. WW II Army Veteran of 5 major battles, including D-day, Rochester Bowling Hall of Fame Inductee. He loved his grandchildren, Golf, Horseshoes and Rose Gardening.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours 5-8p.m. Thursday at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Funeral Mass will be held 9:30a.m. Friday at St. Stanislaus Church, 1124 Hudson Ave. Entombment Riverside Cemetery.
