ROCHESTER - Joseph Matthew Lewis, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 15, 2022.
Joe was born in Rochester, NY on May 4, 1982, to Gerald (Carol) Lewis, and Darlene Lewis. He was known for his great sense of humor, love, and kind heart to all people. He was known always to keep the peace and do anything for anyone. He loved football, especially NFL, his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He loved working outside and wanted to start his own gutter/siding business.
He is survived by his parents, Gerald (Carol) Lewis, and Darleen Lewis, his sisters: Shannon (Jared) Muisus, Megan (Fiancé: Joseph Franklin), Jessica (Matthew) Sanders, his nieces and nephews (Madison Smith, Logan Muisus, Owen Muisus, Gabriella Franklin, Camden Sanders, Brooklynn Franklin, Jemma Franklin) and many aunts and uncles, and his Grandmother, Mary Murray.
Services will be held privately.
