Predeceased by his parents, Turner & Ethel Thomas; brother, Alfred Thomas; sisters, Mary Thomas & Gloria Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Harriet Haygood; children, Latasha Walker, Desmond Sanders, & London Rich; grandchildren, Breyonna, Daequan, Janayah, Cassius, Mahogany, Dakaria, Desmond Jr., Nova, & Dezmoni; great-granddaughters, Shyonna & Alonnie; siblings, Dorothy Adjei, Kathleen Federico, Geraldine (Lambert) Blake, Jacqueline Williams, & Darren Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Family will receive friends 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Thursday, February 15, 2024 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard, where his Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1133 Mt. Hope Ave.
