Rochester: Friday, March 5, 2010. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Gail F. Montante; children, Joseph III (Michele), Roseann (Carl) Wisniewski, Antoinette (Timothy) Churchill, Michele (Kevin) Burns and Michael Sr.; grandchildren, Joseph Montante, Alyssa and Carla Wisniewski, Marvin Russell, Michael Jr., and Nicholas Montante; sister, Theresa (Mario) Buscemi; sister-in-law, Ellen Montante; brother-in-law, George (Margaret) Bertagni; many nieces, nephews, and his beloved pets, Shadow and Trouble. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna Montante; brother, Anthony.
Joe was a retired auto mechanic of Elmer's Brighton Garage.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his Memorial Service Tuesday, March 9th, 10:30 AM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in Joseph's memory.
