Entered into the house of the Lord, Sunday, April 24, 2005 after a long period of failing health. Survived by his loving wife, Barbara Jeanne (Haines) of 54 years; his beloved daughters, Janet (John) Peters and Dana (Thomas) Walker; grandchildren, Nicolas, Heath and Mason Walker, Jessy Peters; survived by brother, Henry Vitrano; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Mr. Vitrano was a longtime employee of Seven-Up Canada Dry Beverage Company. Our hearts are broken but the suffering is over and he is at peace.Family and friends may call Tuesday 5-9 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Joseph's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10:30 at Sacred HeartCathedral. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Words of thanks to the friends of Joseph & Barbara Vitrano, there are not enough words to express our gratitude to all who cared for him. Specifically the 3300 Wing and Respiratory Unit of Park Ridge Hospi tal. Their love and compassion for both of us was unbelievable.
