Predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Ziegler. Daughter, Patty. Granddaughter, Lizzy. Grandson, Shawn. 4 brothers, 5 sisters. His parents, George and Elsie Ziegler.
Survived by his beloved wife, Doris Ziegler. Sons, Joe Jr. (Shelley), Rich (Karen). Step-Son, Jim (Nadine). Daughters, Margie (Tim), Barb (Jamie). Carol, (Mike). 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. 1 Great great grandson. Many friends, and extended family. Joe will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Joe was the founder and owner of Ziegler Construction, where he built his legacy of 34 years. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Korean War Veteran's, The United States Army Veterans, The Moose Club, DAV, Finger Lakes BMW Motorcycle Club. Joe was a proud Veteran of the Korean War Conflict. Joe was a member of Honor Flight 43.
The family will receive friends 3:30-6:30pm Monday November 18, 2024 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) Interment is private in Fairfield Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to Honor Flight of Rochester or Tunnel to Towers in memory of Joe.
