Passed peacefully Monday, February 20, 2017 at age 83. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William; children, Elizabeth Mance, Susan (Jay) Keller, Eileen (Douglas) Brooks, Marty (Linda) Mance, John Mance; grandchildren, Jason Diven, Matthew Brooks, Justin Mance, Lauren Brooks, Emily Keller, Tate Keller; great-grandchildren, Connor and Abigail Diven; sisters, Beatrice Figler, Barbara DeLee, Lorraine Mirabile; in-laws, Arthur & Jane Mance, Florence Mance; and several nieces and nephews.
Josephine was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Caregiver, Advocate, Sister and Friend. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School and was active in the Chili Senior Center and a parishioner at Holy Ghost Parish.
Family will receive friends Friday, February 24th from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Josephine's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 12 NOON at Holy Ghost Church, 250 Coldwater Rd. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the DePaul Assisted Living and Mental Health, 1931 Buffalo Rd., Rochester, NY 14624.
