ROCHESTER - Passed away on Thursday, September 9th 2021 at age 96. Born Josephine Monica Battaglino. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Veltre; brother, Frank (Teresa) Battaglino; nephew, Joseph Battaglino; parents Joseph & Angelina Battaglino. Survived by daughters, Adele Veltre (Azzarone), Angela (Frank DiBenedetto) Veltre, Sandy (Rick) Bernhart; grandsons, Daniel (Megan) Azzarone Jr., Joseph Azzarone, Jacob Bernhart; great grandsons, Dominic and Xavier Azzarone; along with several nieces & nephews.
Jo was a long time retiree of Rochester Products. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to host Wednesday night dinners for family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping and traveling with her daughters. Mom, you will live on in our hearts forever. We love you.
Funeral Services & Interment will be held privately with family at Holy Sepulchre.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Dementia/Alzheimer's charity of ones choice.
