Rochester: Died peacefully Thursday, October 15, 2009 at age 86. She is predeceased by her sister, Bertha DiCesare. Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Anthony; children, Richard "Bear" (Cheryl), James (Dea), Carol (Todd) Corsi-Baker; grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, Ashley and Joshua; sister, Martha Sheldon; along with many nieces and nephews. Josephyne was a retiree of Strong Memorial Hospital after 35 years of service, where she worked as Administrator of Anesthesiology.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Samantha & Jenn at The Hospice Center of Strong Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion during Josephyne's last days.
There will be no prior calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 20 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne's Church, 1600 Mt. Hope Avenue. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Parkinson Study Group, University of Rochester, 1351 Mt. Hope Avenue, Suite 220, Rochester, NY 14620.
