Joyce Daniels Abbondanzieri

Passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 99.

Predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Elio "Abbey" Abbondanzieri; twin sister, Jeannette Barbera; brothers, Jim and Bill Shearer; brother and sister-in-law, Adio & Grace Abbondanzieri; and most recently, her great-nephew, Louis Abbondanzieri, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Elio (Audrey) Abbondanzieri, Enrica (Eric) Sharp, Mario (Georgann) Abbondanzieri, and Lisa (Randy) Sinclair; her grandchildren, Erika, Elio, Brian, Mario, Damien, Michelle, Jason, and Cole; six great-grandchildren; nephews, Louis and Angelo; niece, Annette; and great-niece, Tracy.

Joyce was an exceptional cook and used her cooking as an expression of her love. She was always welcoming and had a warm place in her heart for everyone. She was a lover of animals, an avid gardener, and a devout Catholic who attended chapel daily with her loyal dog, Flo.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway South in Irondequoit. Internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
