Joyce E. Doty

GREECE - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31st 2019 at age 81. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Doty Sr.; sons, Troy & Scott Doty; grandson, Jordan Doty; parents, Clarence & Elizabeth Kosbab; brother-in-law, Robert Glaess. Survived by children, Charles (Luewanna) Doty Jr., Donna Doty (Gudmundur), Cindy (Frank) Trotto, Todd (Amelia) Doty, Kim (Kevin) Haines; daughter-in-law, Linda Doty; Scott Doty's fiancee, Penny Bielewicz; 23 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; loving sister, Kathleen Glaess; nephew, Kurt (Wendy) Glaess; niece, Kristin (Shawn) Cronkwright; along with many dear friends.

Joyce Doty was a 1955 Benjamin Franklin graduate. She worked as a secretary for many years, 26 years of which were with Greece Central School District. She was an avid gardener, golfer, loved playing cards, going to the theater & luncheons with her friends, enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts, and travelling. Her children, grandchildren & family were the center of her life.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Interlakes Oncology @ Unity & Webster Comfort Care for all the warm & loving care given to Joyce during her time there.

Joyce's wish for everyone is to be HAPPY & KEEP SMILING.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, September 6th from 3-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Rochester, NY 14626, where Joyce's Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, September 7th. Entombment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
