Hilton-Joyce Carolyn Wilson (nee McKain)
Passed away on Saturday, October 16, age 84 at home surrounded by family.
Preceded by parents Raymond and Helen (Rodak) McKain, ex-husband William Wilson, brother Richard, sister-in-law Janice (Hammersla), brothers-in-law William "Butch" Foreman, Gerald Wilson and beloved nephews, Robert Webster, Kevin McKain.
Left with happy memories are her children, John (Elizabeth) Wilson, Elizabeth (Daniel) Feeney, Kathleen (Thomas) Gosper and Michael (Michelle) Wilson, brothers Michael (Joan Carey), Joseph (Sandra), cherished sister Helen Foreman, siblings-in-law Mary McKain, John and Barbara Wilson, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Strong, independent, funny, and hardworking lady, she treasured her family, loved golf, darts, bingo, bowling, and was a good sport at skiing. League secretary and member of Lakeshore CC (Rochester) and member of Barefoot Bay CC (Sebastian, FL). Belonged to Fraternal Order of Orioles and Loyal Order of the Moose where she received Officer of the Year for her dedication to Nest 272. She retired from Kodak with a smile.
The family is eternally grateful to Aunt Helen for the love and care given to our mom.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, from 4-7pm at Newcomer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 at 10am, St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport, 55 Martha St, Spencerport, NY 14559. Interment at St. John's Cemetery.
Celebration to follow at West Creek Lodge, 447 Manitou Road.
