Greece: Saturday, March 13, 2010 at age 57. She is predeceased by her father, Gordon Smith. Survived by her mother, Frances Smith; husband, Kevin G. Heath; sons, Brian, Christian "Butch" Lane, and Kevin T. Heath; daughter, Kimberly Lane; grandchildren, Jordyn, Spencer, and Rylea Lane and Izabel Rivera; sisters, Jackie (Gary) Beach, Janis (Joe) Driessler, Jill (Lan) Northrup, and Jennifer; brothers, Jerry and Jeff Smith; father-in-law, Karl (Alice) Heath and mother-in-law, Kate Stewart; brothers-in-law, Bill (Pat) Humphries, Brian (Carolyn) Heath, George (Karen) Heath, Chuck Stewart, Karl (Lori) Heath, Dan Stewart, and Mike (Linda) Hipps; and sister-in-law, Shannon McDonald; along with many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Judi was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed after a 3 1/2 year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Her father owned Smith Flower Shop on Hudson Ave., where she was a florist for 20 years. She also worked at Cohen's Optical and Littmans Jewelers.
Family and friends may attend calling hours Sunday, March 14 (Today) at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., from 1 to 6 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 10 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, or to the Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital.
