Judith Ann Falanga
July 21, 1948 — January 13, 2024
Passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, after showing tremendous courage in her battle with brain cancer.
Born on July 21, 1948 in Gloversville, NY, Judith was the loving daughter of Hazel Smith (Tyrell).
She proudly graduated from Gloversville High School Valley Community College, a legal secretary for a number of prominent law firms in Rochester, NY., and in HR for JC Penney (Irondequoit Mall). Most recently she was a care provider for Heritage Christian Services.
Her interests included traveling, reading books, playing word puzzles, camping, going to Disney World and Darien Lake with her grandkids, spending time at the beach, and visiting casinos.
Judith is survived by her loving husband, Louis C. Falanga, her children, Joseph Falanga of San Francisco, CA and Jennifer Falanga of Irondequoit, NY. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Louis W. Camp, Jessica A. Camp and Anthony R. Drees, as well as her sisters, Marsha (Kurt) Schaffer of Midina, OH, Susan (Arthur) Morrison of Mayfield, NY, Pamela (Chuck) Frascator of Gloversville. Her memory will be cherished by several nieces and nephews, and a circle of friends who will forever miss her friendship and pleasant personality.
Judith was preceded in death by her mother, four brothers (Elmer, Jacob, Gary and Eddie) and a sister (Gail).
The family extends their deepest gratitude to an exceptional nurse Rae Suarez and hygene health aide Lenora from Hospice.
Family will receive friends Saturday, January 20th 2-3PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals at 6 Empire Blvd., Irondequoit, NY.
A Memorial Service will immediately follow.
