Passed peacefully surrounded by family March 11, 2021 at the age of 82.
Predeceased by her parents, Virginia & Hilario Marquez; sisters, Elisa & Ida; life partner, Louie Morales; father of her children, Angel Figueroa.
Survived by her children, Carmen Gillern, Armando Figueroa, & Angelo (Debbie) Figueroa; grandchildren, Loren (Danny) Ruckdeschel, Elisa Figueroa, Shannon (Tommy) Love, Elaina Figueroa, & Angelo Figueroa Jr.; a host of great grandchildren & great great grandchildren; sister, Paula Figueroa; & many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, & friends
Julia worked for many years at Jacobi Medical Center & in her off time she enjoyed fishing, cooking, & being the life of the party.
Calling hours will be Wednesday March 17, 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Private services will be streamed at 7pm click here for service link Here. Private burial the following day at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
