Survived by her parents; Richard Eric (Jen Colombo) Loucks & Edith Janet Muniz; brother, Jose-Miguel Figueroa; Grandmother, Janet Maldonado & Wilson Muniz Sr.; Aunts & Uncles, Elisa (Gilberto Sr.) Arce, Wilson Jr. (Elsa) Muniz, Provi (Hector) Arce, Jack 'Pa' & Debbie 'Ti Ti Ma', Charlie 'Uncle Buck' & Mary, & great aunt, Nancy; cousins, Elijah Samuel, Gilberto Jr., Zenyda Mercedes & Jadiel Arce, Daniel & Jasmine Muniz, Noel & Jose Arce, Mandy, Vicky, Jessy, Tim, Kelly, & Kim. Her best friend since Kindergarten, Jacqueline Cassandra Houston; Friends at School of The Arts, Kameron Nolan, Akirah Johnson, Gianna Alexander, Lavender Ashley, Journey Ford & Kaidence Pacheco; Roommate, Anna Kobienowski and other SUNY Brockport friends, Erin Schwartz & Angelina Adams, and many other close friends.
Julissa loved unconditionally, unbiased, and unprejudiced. She was compassionate and funny. She had been a dancer, beginning at just eighteen months old, dancing at Dance Connection which led her to School of the Arts. At SOTA she was a part of SOTA Stream News, a member of the Horizon Camp & truly enjoyed spending summers at Nana's lake house. Julissa loved to praise God. It brought her great joy to take care of others and was a strong advocate for self care, self help, believing in taking care of yourself, mind, body and soul. If Julissa ever called you a friend, please know she really loved you, as she truly loved and cared for people. She had plans to finish at SUNY Brockport with a degree in Psychology and aspired to be her brothers caregiver.
Family will receive friends Monday March 27th from 3:30-7:30pm, at St. Ambrose Church at 25 Empire Blvd. Rochester, NY 14609.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
