June Ann Maurinus
June 21, 1927 — June 24, 2019
Rochester- June Anne (Schippers) Maurinus, passed away on June 24, 2019 at age 92.
She is predeceased by her husband of 64 years Robert L, her parents, Isaac and Anna Schippers, and a sister Mildred Cole.
She is survived by sons, Robert (Lori), Martin (Sandi) and Steven; grandchildren, Justin (Piery) and Lindsay (John) Burley; nieces and nephews.
After graduating high school, she worked for The Alling Cory Company and the Spencerport School System. June was a long time resident of Spencerport, NY, Homer, NY and Northport, FL. She served more than 35 years as a member of the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance.
June and Robert enjoyed many local activities: skiing, tennis, and boating, along with extensive traveling. Their travels started with a honeymoon driving cross country into Mexico, and by the time their travels ended, they had visited countless countries, crisscrossing 6 continents.
A private service is planned with internment at the White Haven Memorial Park.
