Passed away on, June 13, 2024 at the age of 46.
Justin is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, William Smith; paternal grandparents, George & Mary Sheffield; and his beloved dog, Finch.
He is survived by his daughter, Emme Sheffield; his parents, Sandra & Paul Sheffield; his sister, Erica (Dave) Dean, and her children, Liana, Lauren, Jack; his brother, Bradley (Michelle) Sheffield and his children, Naomi and Noah; his maternal grandmother, Teresa Smith; his beloved dog, Lily; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Justin loved animals and had many animal companions over the years. He loved skiing, boating, hiking, and traveling. He was very talented at diagnosing mechanical issues and fixing them. Justin took everything he learned from previous jobs and created his own business so he could spend more time with his daughter, Emme.
Justin's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Strong Memorial Hospital 8-3400 for their exceptional care and compassion.
Family will receive friends from 2 - 5pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue on Tuesday June 18th. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, June 19th, at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 4492 Lake Ave. Rochester, NY 14612.
Memorial contributions in Justin's honor may be made to the IPF Foundation for pulmonary fibrosis research.
