Knowing that MBC was not curable and doing everything her treatment team recommended, she was adamant it not be stated that she lost her battle because she fought to the very end with all her might. She was taken much too soon. Kacie was a kind, caring and compassionate soul whose legacy will live on through her daughters and the memories of all who knew and loved her. Her smile and welcoming demeanor made everyone feel better, no matter what kind of day they were having.
Kacie touched many lives and had many unique experiences. She attended the Disney program through Monroe Community College in 2005 where she met her husband, the love of her life. While at Disney, she took a break from her job at Outback Steakhouse where she returned after finishing the program. Kacie held many roles at Outback eventually becoming Proprietor and Managing Partner of the Greece location. She even traveled to Cairo, Egypt to help open an Outback! Kacie received the distinction of Managing Partner Of The Year (MPOY) three times (2019, 2021, and 2022). Kacie enjoyed family time/outings, traveling, concerts, comedy shows, and reading.
