Karen Rose Beason died April 5, 2023 of natural causes at the age of 79.
Karen was born July 8, 1943 in Nampa, Idaho. She graduated with honors from Nampa High school in 1961, and from State University of New York in 1988. Following graduation she worked for attorney David M. Gray for 22 years as a paralegal.
Karen married Henry Beason in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 16, 1972. Surviving her are daughters, Juani Berria, Elizabeth (Russell) Webster and Heather Beason; sons, Edward Drown, and Troy (Jacqueline) Beason; grandchildren Jacqueline, Holly, Amanda, Kaley, Blake, step-granddaughter Amber, and step- great grandson Keagan; many close friends and family.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Vera Guinn; her husband's parents, Mildred and Henry Beason Sr. sisters in-law Shirley Buntley and Barbara Mathis; uncles Cyril M. (El Vera) and Joseph V. (Lela) Slansky; aunt Marcie (John) Trent; cousin Leo Slansky; grandson James Edward.
Karen enjoyed reading, puzzles, all movie genres, and travel.
Karen's memorial service will be held Friday April 14 at 11 a.m. at Spreading the Good News Ministries 208 Scottsville Road, Rochester, NY 14611. Officiating Pastor Dr. Macki Rollock. It is suggested that memorials be made to Spreading the Good News Ministries, Inc. in Karen's memory.
